summer plans
IDEALY:
ministry of the environment EA branch: We love you. Please work with us. Forever. Also, accept this cushy benefits package as a sign of our affection.
finances: Surprise! You can afford to move out...right...right...wait for it...NOW!
consort: Hello. I am your mind-bendingly gorgeous consort. All I'm good for is sex and sandwiches. Would you like either at the moment?
OPTIMISTICALLY:
ministry of the environment ThunderBay job: We apologize for our silence. We were just stunned by how much we love you and how well you fit our job description. We could now speak for days. We had to communicate through interpretive dance. Please. Please work for us.
finances: Surprise! You can afford to move out! To Thunder Bay!
ex: You look hot. Hmm...I feel faint stirrings of ...regret?
REALISTICALLY:
kimbercote: Yeah! Come join! It'll be awesome! We recently had a seminar on wild harvesting!
finances: Surprise! You can't afford to move out! Unless you find a roommate! And keep the bakery job! A job you're growing to dislike!
close female friend: That's a nice skirt.
PESSIMISTICALLY:
bakery job: Oh? We're the only place that will take you for the summer? Really? Now go sweep the floor and memorize the prices of the breads. 'Cause you still don't remember...tsktsktsk....
finances: SURPRISE!!! You're gonna be financially dependent on your parents FOREVER!!!
close female friend: That's an ugly skirt.

I'll find out tomorrow.
So I'm riding this fine line between angry and angsty. I'm really not looking forward to this Friday. The Bakery's going to be nuts (or so they've said). Rafi-boss intimidates me. So I speak quieter. Which annoys him. Which intimidates me more. It's a vicious cycle.
Too much fake smiling will do that. What's the middle of angry and angsty? I'm going to assume "ang" plus whatever letters average out between "ry" and "sty".
Anyway. Makes me feel silly. Almost goth. Like I'm just one step away from it.
psst...Kathleen. You got my last email?
